Warehouse Operator / Forklift Operator – Full-Time

Pay: $(18)–$(22) per hour, based on experience.

Pro Transport Savannah is hiring a dependable Warehouse Operator to join our team. You’ll handle freight on a forklift, load and unload trucks and containers, and help keep the warehouse running safely and on schedule. If you take pride in careful, accurate work, we’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

Run sit-down and stand-up forklifts and/or reach trucks and pallet jacks to move, stage, and store freight.
Load and unload trailers and containers, including floor-loaded and palletized freight.
Check incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading and paperwork.
Note damages, shortages, and overages, and report them.
Build, wrap, and label pallets for outbound shipments.
Keep the warehouse and dock clean, organized, and safe.
Do daily pre-shift inspections on your equipment.
Follow all safety rules and OSHA standards.

What we’re looking for:

At least [1] year of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
Current forklift certification preferred; we’ll train and certify the right candidate.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and stand or walk for a full shift.
Basic math and reading skills for paperwork and counts.
Reliable attendance and on-time arrival.
Willing to work overtime when volume calls for it.
Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Saturdays as needed.
